The  Beach Cities - Orange - Inland Empire Chapter's (BCOIE)  was founded in 1979 by John Tonrich, the chapter's first president, with a motto of "Family and Studebakers", which we still stress today.  The BCOIE Chapter serves portions of Southern California (including Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego Counties).The BCOIE Chapter sponsors several events a year, including the La Palma Car Show every spring in Anaheim, California.  The La Palma Car Show, started in 1974, is the largest all Studebaker show west  of the Mississippi.  

The BCOIE Chapter also participates in events sponsored by the Los Angeles Chapter, the other SDC Chapter in Southern California.  Members receive a monthly newsletter, "The Sparkplug", which contains up to date chapter news and activities, articles and photos.  Members can also advertise parts, cars or services, free of charge, on the Chapter's website.  If you're interested, join us and become part of our Studebaker World.
